The log cabin home designs featured here showcase a spectacular entertainment lodge on a 4,500 acre cattleranch in Montana. Designed by Ewing Architects in Pasadena, California, this 10,000 square foot stone and logstructure is absolutely extraordinary!
Rarely do we get an opportunity to see a private lodge of this stature. Meticulously designed and magnificentlyexecuted, this is truly one for the ages!
Employing post and beamconstruction, the lodge at Shining Mountain Ranch utilizes generous amounts of stone on its exterior. Pictured in the close-up above, as well as a wider view below, is the front facade with its large entry tower.

At the rear, a massive covered porch and stone terrace dominate the facade . . . . .

The expansive kitchen includes a large island with a stainless steel counter top. Easy to maintain ceramictile covers the floor.
A built-in bar is anchored on either end by massive log columns to support the structural beams overhead.
And finally, taking center stage, is the incredible media room pictured below. Over-stuffed sofas and chairsensure a comfortable viewing experience in this monumental lodge!
